ABOUT ROCKY TEE !
Rocky Tee was born in Tifton, Georgia November 23,1959.
Being from a musical family Rocky has played guitar for over four decades. He has played throughout the USA in concerts, clubs, churches, and studios. Rocky has played venues from soloist to orchestra with several groups opening for or with major acts.
Rocky Tee has developed a style of picking he calls Teepickin. He uses a thumbpick and combines fingerpicking, thumbpicking, and flatpicking. He plays and loves all styles of music. He is acomplished on several string instruments as well as keyboards and vocals.
Rocky has worked with such names as Ringo Starr, Edgar Winters, Gary Wright, Colin Haye, Stuart Hamm, Jeff Bates while in production and more.
Rocky's newest project is a self written and produced CD called God and Family.
Rocky also wrote and produced a CD in 2008 with his brother Rodney Duckworth in Nashville.
Rocky played with several groups throughout the 1970's one being SMOKEDREAM. Rocky recorded in Nashville with the Worth Brothers in the 1980's. Rocky also recorded with the Duckworth and Hurst Family. This is a C D with good ole' Gospel hymns done in a brand new way.

Rocky has taught and managed music retail stores from Albany, Georgia to Nashville, TN.. since the early 1980's.
Rocky is a graduate of electronics and audio. He is an authorized guitar and electronic technician of Fender and Peavey products as well as others. He teaches, records, and writes music instruction books in his home studio in Nashville,Tennessee.
Rocky Tees' first guitar instruction manual was published in 1987. This book was endorsed by several including John Knowles, guitar teacher at Blair School Of Music (Vanderbilt) in Nashville,TN., a published author of Mel Bay. Fred Newell, lead guitarist on TNN's The Nashville Now show with Ralph Emery.
Rocky has homes in both Red Rock Georgia and Nashville Tennessee. He is active in Christain music and plays lead Guitar for Sherwood Baptist in Albany Georgia.
